Dr. Chen Lei (postdoctoral fellow) is an Associate Professor and Master's Supervisor at the School of Information Science and Engineering, Shandong University. A recipient of Shandong University's Young Scholar Future Program and a Member of the Chinese Association of Automation, he holds a Doctor of Engineering degree from the University of Ottawa, Canada, with undergraduate and master’s degrees from Shandong University. His research focuses on image processing, computer vision, machine learning, and artificial intelligence. He presides over national and provincial-level projects, has published numerous international academic papers, and holds several national invention patents. Notably, his participating project won the 2023 Second-Class Prize of the China Machinery Industry Science and Technology Award (Science and Technology Progress Category), highlighting his expertise in interdisciplinary R&D and industrial application. |

Zhong Zhang received the Ph.D. degree from the Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing, China. He was a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow with the University of Texas at Arlington, USA. Now, he is a Professor with Tianjin Normal University, Tianjin, China. He has published about 120 articles in international journals and conferences such as the IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems, IEEE Transactions on Multimedia, Pattern Recognition, IEEE Transactions on Geoscience and Remote Sensing, IEEE Transactions on Circuits Systems Video Technology, IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security, Signal Processing (Elsevier), IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR), and AAAI Conference on Artificial Intelligence (AAAI). Prof. Mohd Syuhaimi Ab Rahman began his career at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM) in 2007 and was promoted to full Professor at the age of 33. Specializing in optical communication systems, he has supervised over 13 PhD graduates, published nearly 300 journal articles, and secured 6 patents. He has held key leadership roles, including Deputy Dean and Director of the Alumni Relations Centre at UKM. A registered Professional Engineer, he was named one of Malaysia's Top Research Scientists in 2021 and is a frequent keynote speaker at international conferences. He also contributes to policy advisory and academic mentorship initiatives. |
